What would it be like to stay in a sound proof booth for a day? I dunno if all the david blaine video watching has corrupted my mind or what. But I was just thinking about......

"Would it be a true moment of peace and clarity to be stuck in a sound proof booth all day?"

Would you feel relaxed, and at ease, or would you go insane? Of course, food, drink, etc. would be given to you in the booth.

Hardest Question

Every year I have one of the hardest questions get asked to me.....
"What do you want for your bday?"

The thing with this question is, if they ask and it's about a week or two til my BDay, it shows things are pretty last minute and they prolly can't get me anything too nuts. My mom popped the BDay question on me yesterday. It's been on my mind. I usually have some kind of idea, but I really am unsure this time around. I usually have an idea, something for music, something for my car, something for my computer. The first toys which always come to mind, but I have nothing in mind and part of me really wants to ask for something different. Like a flight to Canada or New York. I dunno. I got a little bit to decide I guess.


The Big Mac Middle Bun!
So how do they make that middle bun for Big Macs? If you have ever looked at that middle bun, it isn't just like a bottom bun which actually has a brown side and a light side. The middle bun actually has the dark brown ring on the outside, but on the flat sides is white/light. I'm very intrigued about this special bun and how it is infact made.

Fun For Everyone
Trying to create a fun shindig at the krib. Going to have no one home for most of the day until late evening. I am unsure what to do but I want to do something different and chill. Suggestions are welcome.

Production
Beats are coming along. New one up on the rictor music page. Got some more to mix down and hopefully upload.

PDC
PDC is coming along pretty well. Everyone seems to be a bit comfy, but atleast there's no major drama. It's going to be a rough few weeks to come.

Graphic Design
Finally been getting back into it. Atleast, when I have some time. I have a couple of logo projects to do, which is very exciting, yet a kick in the ass for me to wake up and get back into my flow.

Choreography
Just about done. Thank goodness. I need a break, and to take some more classes. I can't wait for that to be the case.

Mute

It sucks when you feel no one understands you. You pour your heart out and try to explain and try to open up. Try to express yourself and when you do, it's just totally misunderstood or not even acknowledged you made this sacrifice to open up and try to speak what's truly inside.

For the most part, it seems pretty correct (85% or more). But to anyone who reads this, please remember this is more on a level of people who are married and have that kind of committment.

PDC Stuff
PDC Workshop this weekend. I'm pretty neutral about the whole thing. I'm not too excited, nor having a bad outlook on the situation to come. Collaborating with Mappy is comin along fresh. It's a new way for us to try to collaborate as well as we're way ahead on working on our stuff to teach (well, compared to usual).

Choreography is coming along. I'm almost done with everything I need to choreograph for these medleys. I can't wait to take a break and just let the mind chill.

I got alot of plans and work for PDC as time comes. I want to wait till the medley is more settled in before delegating and getting on the ball for these new plans and projects. But I am hoping to end the year making alot of waves.

Producer Stuff
So it's looking great. I bought a book about recording and producing, and another about being an actual producer and understanding your role. So my brain as of late has truly been soaking up all this new information. I'm really excited to try it all out.

Speaking of which...... I seen Collette over the weekend. She's working on both songs (which I still need to mix down), so that's fresh. I also connected with some old friends this weekend via phone and myspace. These old friends are going to be added talent to me trying to grow as a producer. So what does this mean I got to work with?.........

Pino - Mid 20's Emcee

This should give me a range of having to make some hiphop beats, pop, soul and r&b.

More Brain Flotation
Life works in very mysterious ways. I think one thing which ups the turn over rate on relationships to boys is that we don't get so much caught up in "who can i get now?" or "she's hot. i bet if I wasn't with [insert name here], I could get her." BUT...... it's only that when a man and woman committ to being "together" (not married) it's almost treated as if it was marriage (atleast by women. from a mans perspective it feels like it). Being together is about showing, it's only you 2, but you aren't filing for taxes together, you have no children, you have no "legal" bond to having to be together. It's all for feeling it out and seeing if marriage is infact, the thing we both want.

When the official "date" a man and woman get together, it's as if that is the first new/real day. Almost as if you were socially born-again (instead of born-again christian). As a man, I do know we want the same loving, warm, playful and 'buddy' we had before that official "date" had came to be. I feel this creates alot of mutual pressure on us as males and on the relationship itself. To most folks, a relationship can be heavily looked at as an "investment". I spent so much time to this person, hobby, habit, etc. that I do not want to give it up. I'm not going to come with the cheesey, "if you love something, let it go." That isn't true, if you let something go, it's never the same.... Period. As much as we want it to be "ok" it won't be a great deal of the time. If you let anything go, it probably won't come back. It's a gamble, only bet what you're ok with losing.

This goes for people who think they want to be single, who want to cheat, who want to be in a relationship. If you want your freedom and to do what you want, don't let it go. If you love your partner, then don't let them go. If you do, there's no agreement to anything (besides an old saying of , "if you let it go..... and it comes back, it was mean't to be."), that says you will get another shot at what you had.
